I know everyone’s got something to say about the new pay-per-page model of Kindle Unlimited. I don’t want to get into whether it’s fair or not, I’ll just say that so far, I’m happy with it.

And one of the reasons why is because of this unexpected effect. You know, when people buy or borrow my books, I never really know if they’re reading them unless they tell me or post a review. But with the new KU dashboard, I get to actually see people reading my work on a daily basis.

 I can’t tell you the profound effect this has on my personal morale. It’s just so motivating watching that chart and knowing that my words and stories are actually meeting their purpose out there. Makes me want to write more.
