The day has finally arrived. The print version of Colossus of Arms is available on Amazon.com. And for me, this signifies that the book is finally finished. :)
A lot of people are reading ebooks these days, and ~80% of my book sales are ebooks, but making a printed book is something that is essential to me. Yes, it requires much more effort than an ebook, it involves more people, takes longer to produce, and it is more expensive, but for those 20% of readers who prefer printed books, there is no comparison between the ebook format and a printed book. Some readers need to feel the weight of the book in their hands, love the smell the pages, and admire the front and back cover art. I know this well, because I am one of those readers.
So it's out there, meaning that I've mentally cleared the way to start my next book, and also that it is time to celebrate the successful creation of Colossus of Arms.
