“Life, driven by its mysterious and perpetual essence, must evolve despite and often even because of the efforts of those who would restrain it, for whatever reason. Deep in the enveloping shroud of the Void, contained inside a cocoon of time of its own making, the soul of Walter Cavanaugh awakens and consistent with the nature of life, it stretches forth and struggles to break free, to rejoin the time stream, to be re-born.

But it is not alone.

Trapped within the same sphere of arrested time, the Other languishes, a prisoner in what to it is no safe haven, but rather a prison from which it cannot hope to escape.
