Just a Bit Wrong is almost here!

The book is going through the editing process right now.

I often get asked whether this book is more like Just a Bit Twisted or Just a Bit Unhealthy. I understand why readers ask about it—they are very different books.

It's a difficult question.

Is Zach a nice guy like Jared Sheldon or a bossy, stern man like Derek Rutledge? Zach falls somewhere in the middle but closer to Rutledge. He is bossy, but he definitely isn't as emotionally stunted as Rutledge. He has a big family he loves, and he actually has a sense of humor.

Tristan is already familiar to those readers who have read Just a Bit Unhealthy, and I don't think people felt much sympathy for him, considering what a manipulative little shit he was in his brother’s book. But Tristan has many faces—many masks—and sometimes it can be hard to tell which one is real. A flirty, nice, confident guy? A bitchy, snarky, manipulative brat? Or a boy with very low self-esteem who, deep down, just wants to be loved? Maybe he’s all of those things. It was very interesting to write Tristan, because he’s an unreliable narrator. Sometimes his point of view is brutally honest and self-deprecating; sometimes he refuses to admit certain things and misleads the reader and himself.

The tone of the story is probably closer to Just a Bit Twisted and Straight Boy than the later books, although Tristan is hardly a blushing virgin like Sage and Shawn, and the book is almost twice as long as Rutledge and Shawn’s story.

What is the book about? This is a story about wanting someone against your better judgment. For Zach, this is a story about making a mistake, knowing he’s making a mistake, and yet making that mistake again and again—because he can’t fight the attraction. This is a story about fascination with someone who you know is absolutely wrong for you, someone who has given you no reason to love them, someone who drives you absolutely crazy, someone who is the wrong choice, and yet you can’t stay away.

I enjoyed writing this book immensely, and I'm looking forward to starting the next book in the series.

The expected release date of Just a Bit Wrong is 09/15/2015.

Annery I'm reading "Just a Bit Twisted" now & am so happy that I'll basically be able to just jump into the next one! I love, love, love this series.

Ready to Read Yes! I love most of your stories and I can't wait for this to come out. I am so happy that Zach's personality will be closer to Derek's than Jared's. Jared was nice, but way too sweet for my taste. Tristan was a twat in the last book, but a likable twat (which is more than I can say about Gabriel).

I agree. But Jared did lose the Mr. Nice Guy when he and Gabriel finally (*sigh*) did it. And I suspect (hope) that in the end he is the real boss of them. ;-)

Too little too late by the time they finally did it, lol. Gabriel really turned me off; he gets the vote for most unlikable character. Jared deserved better....

Mary I can't wait for the book! Unlike what seems to be the accepted consensus, I loved Tristan, the little shit that he was, and I found him more sympathetic than Gabriel could ever be. (Still confused why anyone would like Gabriel lol sorry Jared.)

I'm looking forward to Tristan's story with Zach! :)

Andri Alessandra now that there are only a few days left until Just a Bit Wrong is out would you consider posting a small excerpt?

I'm honestly not sure a small excerpt would make much sense. I suppose I can post the first chapter?
