My first Goodreads blog and I have lots and lots of writery story updates! Yay!

Now, regardless of whether my book ends up in the top 5, I'm going to self-publish it. But it would be awfully nice to do it with the backing of The Nerdist which I love.

Next up: A new EMILY & THE STRANGERS is coming from me, Rob Reger, Cat Faris, and Dark Horse! This is the final installment in our series and while I'm sad to see it go, we're going out with a drapply bang! Emily and her band on tour trying to save those unwanted, stray cats, battle a rival band, and take down Awesomely Awesome Records. Mayhem, weird science, and more cats than you can shake some feathers at.

Another project that's upcoming: the SEPTEMBER MOURNING comic with Top Cow and metal goth musician SEPTEMBER MOURNING! This is a dark series in the vein of Buffy and Lost Girl, with reaper butt kicking, The Book of Fate, and a mysterious anti-heroine. This was just funded on Kickstarter so look for the first issue in the fall.

Finally, my first full length horror romance erotica, A BITE IN THE DARK will be coming out August 28th. It's written under the pen name MILA NOIR and it's a doozy if you like vampires, snarky ladies, and uhm, well...lots of hot sex. And also spider shifters, air spirits, and more.
