The other day I got a call from my editor, Bonnie Verburg, wanting to read my first review to me!  She prefaced this by telling me that first reviews can sometimes be pretty brutal.  So I braced for the worst.  This being the first review of my first book, I had no idea what to expect.  All of the second guessing and doubt flooded into my head, but I listened as she read it to me.  Expecting each sentence to suddenly twist into a bloodletting, but the time she finished I found myself wondering if I’d missed the bad part.
