It's A New World For "Thank My Lucky Scars"

Hi Friends:

Welcome to 2011. Hope you’re all doing well.

Since the publication of my book, Thank My Lucky Scars, in 2006, I have been amazed by the response and blessed to have met so many wonderful people all over the country.

My original motivation for writing this book came from the people who attended my speeches. After being asked time and time again to write a book about my life, I decided it was time to put my story “on paper.” I wanted to share the peace that I had found after growing up with Arthrogryposis and enduring years of painful surgery and recuperation, taunting from my peers, and trying to find my place in the world.

After the death of a close friend, I was led to a kind of peace that that changed my life. It enabled me to be a happier person, to be a hospice volunteer and to offer a different type of hope to others.

I’m delighted to announce that Thank My Lucky Scars is now available on Amazon Kindle for $5.99. For those who may not know, you don’t need a Kindle to read an eBook. By simply Googling “Kindle for PC” or “Kindle for Mac” you can download a free Kindle application to your desktop.

While the Kindle version of my book can be purchased at Amazon.com, or by follow this link: http://tiny.cc/yrk4z , the original hardcover edition can be purchased through my website: http://www.wardfoley.com.

Best wishes to all,

Don’t Ever Give Up Hope.
