It's been a while since I blogged and as much as I love blogging there have also been some issues that have kept me away. 

But then I sat today and thought, why should others keep me away from doing something I really love.  And yes I do love blogging and sharing my life with you, as you have always supported my gift and encouraged the journey that I am on. With that said I want to thank you!

Negative people really can get a hold of you, but you have to turn it around and make a change. Those people who fire negative comments are those who are jealous of you. Jealous of who you are, what you may do for a living, who your friends are and who you decide to be in a relationship with. 

I have had to deal with jealousy all my life.  I don't like dealing with it, as it's an emotion that is not worth any energy.  But because I have this gift there are others who are ready to put you down, and then with the added situation of having a book and a TV show... thats when people start firing on all cyclinders.  It's so sad to see that happen. 

But what you can't do is control what others do, but you can decide on how you are going to act. This is the one thing that was the hardest lesson for me over the years.  That is not to let it get to you.  Sadly over the last 5 years I have had to grow a very thick skin... and to learn NOT to google yourself!!! hahaha

My mother has a great philsophy and she always says one thing when I tell her if someone is bothering me, "Just ignore them" and it's true and has worked in a lot of cases.  However there are times that you also have to face things.  But the jealously is something that I am choosing not to face, I am not going to act, I will deal with it accordingly.  Other issues I will face, and I will face them head on. I have learnt to have a voice and speak my mind and will continue to do so if I have to, but for those people who are negative and make negative comments I will take my mom's advice :)

So I am back, I will possibly make a change and go back to blogging on my website but until now... I'm here and I'm not going anywhere!

So when you find that someone is talking negative about you, stop and instead of reacting, ask yourself if they have cause to do so and if they don't then could they be jealous of something that you have in your life.  Then react in a way that you see fit. If people see that it doesn't get to you then you will find that it will stop.  It's not easy but shower them with love because it's clear that they are lacking something in their life and love will always conquer all!
