Musing on Muses
Does everyone have a muse? By everyone I mean those in the creative arts or those endeavouring to create something.
Is there someone or something that leads them on, that inspires them to keep creating, to persevere when they'd rather sit and sulk, and admit to failure?
Whether the muse be personified or not, there is an intrinsic urge within all of us that leads us on, that pushes, urges, cajoles us. It will not admit to failure. It was built for success.
I've never consciously called upon a muse or had an inspiring person that pushed me, but perhaps I can say Life pushed me. And keeps pushing me. As it does all of us.
Consider the differences among these related words: depressed, expressed, impressed.
Breathe. Deeply. It does wonders.
Eat well. Bless everything in your path. Take vitamins.

I loved PRESSED in the above words. We are all pressed to go forward by the sweet whisperings of the angels in our lives, weather here or in the world above. Press forward and fill the world with your moving words and inspire its inhabitants.
