My one-week social hiatus is officially over, and what an interesting week it has been. I did find myself reaching for my phone, habitually checking to see what has happened on Facebook, or if anyone has posted something interesting Twitter. But I checked myself and turned my focus to other things. With book two off to the publisher and book one still being polished before publication, I had some time on my hands. So I cleaned all the dust bunnies that had accumulated while I powered through my last book, and listened to the Miss Silver Mysteries by Patricia Wentworth. I am now a confirmed audio-book lover! There is nothing quite as lovely as being read to, and the Miss Silver books, read by Diana Bishop, are like sitting down to a cup of tea with a friend. So I am binging on those for the time being, and gearing up for the release of my debut, “The Spirit of Grace.” I was hoping for an October release date, but have now been bumped to December 12! I will be giving copies away, so stay tuned. Cheers.
