Sorry I've been away for so long.

Unfortunately I have had things come up that have kept me away from my laptop!!

But....I am back now and with a teaser for Book 2 of the Broken series....Cassie's story.

'The face looking back at me scared me. Her face was gaunt, making her high cheek bones more defined. Her usual bright blue eyes were now pale and lifeless by comparison. Her skin was paler than normal and her lips were bloody and cracked. She looked like the woman who gave her up eighteen years ago. The same woman who gave birth to her twenty six years ago.

I closed my eyes and winced as the pain shot across my right eyelid and along the top of my cheek bone. I was certain I could feel the pain right down to the very tips of my lashes. The pain continued down the side of my face my heavily bruised jaw. I sucked in a breath and choked down the lump that had formed in my throat. Tears threatened to spill from my eyes but I couldn’t shed them now. Instead I returned my attention back to the face looking at me. I swiped it away angrily at stray tear that had managed to escape. I silently screamed. How dare she make an appearance in my life now! She was supposed to be thousands of miles away, rotting in a cell. Realisation dawned and I collapsed against the wall, still staring at the face that had haunted me for years. Except… it wasn’t her face. The face staring back at me was…me.'
