Like them both too. But Rutlege is more complicated, I guess, or may be it's just that we had an opportunity to read about him longer. So I'd go for Derek. And anyway thanks for this series, it's absolutely awesome!!!
This is almost IMPOSSIBLE to answer as i'd love both !! But if i had to choose 1 it would be Xavier x
Your killing me here...I loved Xavier. But I always wanted to know how Rutledge felt in the classroom looking at Shawn. So Rutledge Please!
How could you make me choose! Ugh! Okay fine Xavier only because I didn't get enough time with him.... But you know what? Scratch that. I want BOTH of em! That's right TWO companion stories... One for each of em! I know you can do it (translation: oh god please, pretty please with an umbrella in your margarita, PLEASE write BOTH!!! ) Please?
RUTLEDGE,please!, he was such an as***le but I love him so freaking much <3and it's ok if it's gonna be only like 200 pages,I'm not greedy or anything ;P
THANK YOU ;)
I'd love both but if i have choose, I'll pick Xavier, because I just really crave for more of Xavier and Sage. Their story was not the 1st book i read from the series but probably the one i pick up for a quick read the most lol
Rutledge...definitely.I would love to see what he's thinking when he sees Shawn in class. I always imagined this complete inferno beneath that ice
Rutledge! Rutledge! I mean, Xavier is great, really, he's awesome, but Rutledge is a whole new level of awesome. ^_^
Personally i'd like to see xavier because you got a bit of Rutledges POV and you knew what he was thinking. Whereas Xav is a bit more of a mystery and as the book was a novella i just want to know more about that couple.
Xavier!! Poor chap didn't even get a proper novel.. just a novella. I want to know what's going on in his mind every time he looks at sage!!
I would like both please!!!!!!!! I dont mind waiting for a year for each book or more, just as long as I get both POV >.< Your friggen Straight GUys series is my STRAIGHT, TWISTED, OBSESSED, UNHEALTHY, WRONG, CONFUSING, Addiction. Best M/M books I've read to date. But If I had to choose, (Which i hate to =( ... ) I would choose. . . Both . . damn it.. I cant choose at all, I love them both too much.
Rinkyx wrote: "I would like both please!!!!!!!! I dont mind waiting for a year for each book or more, just as long as I get both POV >.< Your friggen Straight GUys series is my STRAIGHT, TWISTED, OBSESSED, UNHEAL..."Agreed!!!!!!
Hard one but Rutledge seems like a deep thinker & gettin onto his head would be a special treat. Of course you can also have Xavier visit .... LOL
Klim wrote: "Xavier!! Poor chap didn't even get a proper novel.. just a novella. I want to know what's going on in his mind every time he looks at sage!!"Agree, and me too!
Both would be perfect, hehe... But I prefer Xavier's story. You caught me with thanks to that book after all *winks* . But whatever you choose to write, I'll definitely read it!
That's really hard because I would love to read both but like if I'm forced to choose then Rutledge all the way
Ummm... I'm assuming we are choosing one... to go first right? I mean, I do want to read Xavier's story as well, and I could wait with that one if needed. I'd also love to read about Nick's story, and I don't care what people say, I would love to read more about further developments between Gabriel and Tristan. I found it wonderful that the characters actually evolved, instead of stagnating in an initial setting.
I'm a pretty big Rutledge fan too so I'd say Just a Bit Twisted. I liked Straight Boy a lot, but I feel like you could really built on Rutledge's character. I'd read whatever it was either way though.
Honestly if you're crunched for time, I as a reader would prefer a quality story over usage of a specific character. Basically the choice between Xavier|Rutledge depends on which ever gets written more smoothly by you.If looking for popular demand it seems the consensus is Derek.
I'm probably in the minority it seems, but Xavier's story would be my choice if a Xavier|Rutledge story written because...
there's a lot more story to him that hasn't been told.
+ Like what happened before he met Sage in prison?
+ Did Xavier struggle with his sexuality inside/outside prison?
+ What do Sage & Xavier do outside of prison besides sharing an apartment together?
Then again these questions would take time to answer so if time is limited, Derek would probably be a wiser choice because his backstory is already pretty much fleshed out. Although yeah it would be awesome to get to Xavier's perspective when you have more time.
Love them both just like many other fans, but I'd like to know more about Xavier...He's such a mystery person.
But...would you please (and please and please) just give one of them on Valentine's day, and the other some where during the year? like...Easter or Halloween...(∩_∩*)ゞ
Rutledge...but Xavier definitely deserves one too...sooo we'll make a deal Rutledge POV and a little something to let us know how they're doing first and Xavier when you have the time...win****win ;)
I'm a Rutledge fan, but Xavier is my all time favorite. I think he has a story to tell, that will be intriguing and unexpected.

We know so little about the both of them. However, if push comes to shove, and we must choose, I stand 100% behind Rutledger, though hold a candle for the story of Xavier.
BOTH!! So not fair to tease us by asking us to choose when you KNOW they both deserve a book, and that we would definitely want both... Please make the time, we can wait it out!
I love them both but if I had to choose I would go with Rutledge. How is James & Ryan's book coming along?
Hi, Everyone. Thanks for sharing your opinions with me! It is greatly appreciated. I see that Rutledge is the favorite. I have started his book, which will be a companion story to "Just a Bit Twisted" from Rutledge's point of view. While it will work as a stand-alone book, it can also be considered a sequel, since the book will not end where "Just a Bit Twisted" did. I think Xavier will get his own story at some point--I do want to write it and I have some ideas--but right now I can't make any promises.

I have been worried for a while, but starting Rutledge's story actually helped me to write Jamie and Ryan's, because they are so different. I'm not behind schedule anymore, and Ryan and Jamie are my favorite couple in the series now. But I have to say after Gabe and Tristan, writing from Jamie's point of view feels strange. He's too damn nice and likable. ;)

Ps. I like the new cover, that's pretty much how I imagined Tistan.
