I was listening to all the news programs and morning shows earlier today and am so pleased to hear the Australian Government have announced increased financial support for victims of domestic violence, including the provision of many new services. It's a little surreal for me because for a long time, I've wanted to write a story about this very issue and I finally did. My next story, The Perfect Husband, is due for release on 1 November, 2015 and is a very gritty, no-holds barred look at the reality of domestic violence in all its ugliness. The timing is purely coincidental, but I'm so pleased so see this issue finally getting some air time and some real support from our Government.
