Book Review:  One Time Thing
by A.E. Albert

Author:  Tess McCallum
Genre:  Romance

Jess is as free and untamed as the rural Australian wild she grew up in.  Yet, her past has shaped the lonely situation she currently finds herself in.

Suddenly, Jess finds her heart superseding logic when she meets helicopter pilot, Teague.  Jess must now re-evaluate her plans for the future and confront the demons of her past.

Everyone makes mistakes.  Speaking as someone who makes many mistakes, I feel I have had enough experience in this area to state: our mistakes don't define us.

Every passing moment is another opportunity to make a change in our lives.  I enjoyed watching Jess come to this conclusion.

I truly appreciated the author's descriptive powers. She re creates the Australian wild with words, but when translated in our imaginations, they morph into vibrant colors and magnificently defined shapes.

Another ability the author possesses is character development.  Her characters are authentic and at times maddening real.

Overall, a well written novel laced with romance, the wild and a dash of humor.  My favorite kind.

Tess McCallum lives in Western Australia with her husband of over twenty years, their two children and a schizophrenic cat. Somehow in between being a wife, mother and working full-time in her real job, Tess still manages to find time to write. She has now published three romance e-books and is currently working on her fourth book, Different This Time, the third instalment of the Molly Downs Outback Romance series.

Tess has also published a full length novel A Thousand Rivers under the penname Melissa Kuipers, which is available from your favourite ebook retailer.
