Project Carbon Copy

I have known Claire for a few years and I read many of her books. I let her know that I found interesting and thoroughly enjoyed the variety of different topics.

I got in touch with Claire a short time ago again and she mentioned she had just finished a new book. I asked her when it was coming out and she said in the near future and asked me if I would like to read it immediately.

She said the name of the book was Project Carbon Copy and she sent it to me. As I said earlier, I thoroughly enjoyed her previous books and this was no exception. I find that Claire writing gets better and more professional with each of her publications.

I enjoyed everything about this book. The topic is very much “today”. The story is about extraterrestrials and the fact that they are already here amongst us and what they plan to do with Earth and its population. It seems all too real. We know that the US government is hiding many facts about Roswell and other alien’s sightings. This book really made me question how much they know and how much they had kept from the public. Very interesting...

It definitely gave me food for thought as well as being very entertaining. I totally recommend to anybody who wants a good read. Thanks again Claire for sending this to me. I really enjoyed it.
All the best and much success.

Terra Cotta / The horrible face of the blue planet – One possible scenario

One would be inclined to think words like Armageddon, Pharmageddon, Apocalypse and
« God’s Wrath » are good words to qualify future dramatic occurrences.
But rarely do we hear about plain and strict Hope. Claire Manning has built a short novel which, at first sight, appears to be only fantasy and entertainment, however, it would be a mistake to go on this first impression. Here is a genuine new writer who has something to say and says it very well. A depressing mood and dark thoughts have become « Orders of the day » in many of today's books; Manning uses a highly concise style to express obvious truths while dragging the reader into an eventful journey which could very well become a reality.
Her own moral values are barely disguised and it is quite refreshing indeed to take a fresh new look at the actual world and smile with relief at the outcome. Such a viewpoint is cruelly missing and she is to be thanked for this hopeful glimpse into new possible realities."

"Great idea, that will never die - searching for the best in mankind, always trying to be better...this will never die and will always be an interesting subject.
Original way of achieving the goal I think this is your contribution to the idea - not just that we have to be better, but also how to get there - really well done.
The Si-Fi version may not be acceptable for everyone, but my family loves it (especially me).
Your book is very promising and I personally think this is a pretty impressive start. By all means - keep writing because we, the readers deserve to be spoiled by beautiful stories.
I actually decided to read it again.
Keep up the good job and let me know where I can sign for an advance copy of your next masterpiece."

"Your book is with me on the beach .... And sometimes I surprise myself being on the beach instead of being with Robert...
... I'm on page 63 and I have trouble letting it go ... to be honest: I love it!"

Once I started reading it, I found it difficult to put it down even for a few minutes. The story moves along quickly. It is easy to follow and has a very interesting ending. I suggest for anybody looking for a good book to read to pick it up.
I read her previous book Terra Cotta as well and also enjoyed it. I consider her to be a very talented new writer.

A truely feel good story with an oriental setting that makes for very interesting reading. A good adventure with a nice twist at the end. I recommend this to anyone looking for a good summer read.

The Ultimate DNA

Wow! I have not at any time guessed the turn toward which this story was heading. This DNA, where it comes from and what is its power - all turned out well beyond what I had imagined. If you are like me a fan of science fiction, you will be served. Congratulations!
