So I kinda blew it.

I originally had book two of the Thaumaturge series scheduled to be released on November 5. I also wanted to release the Thaumaturge series short mid-October. But…yeah, I blew it.

Balancing my real life and my writing life has proven to be a challenge. I just got a new job and things around these parts have been hectic and to be honest, my motivation to write shriveled up sometime around September. I’ve been writing, it’s just that every freaking sentence is a struggle. Usually, I try to hit between 1500 – 2500 words per day. Lately I’ve been getting only 500 words per day.

So this is what I’ve got going on:

Boneyard, the 2nd Thaumaturge book, is with my editor. I hope to have it released sometime in November, but it won’t be the 5th. Probably realistically more like the 25th.

Untitled Thaumaturge short is still being written. I don’t have a release date yet.

In addition to the short, I have two other works in progress: Thaumaturge #3 and a stand alone shifter/paranormal/dark/romance novel.

I have put my other two WIPs – the contemporary romance and the time travel romance – on hold until I finish up with the above three projects. I’ll tackle those ones next year. I want to focus on these three projects for the next few months.

Nanowrimo is coming up and while I have never actually followed the rules of Nano – meaning I always just use Nano to get further motivation for whatever WIP I have – Nano means that I get reunited with my amazing, incredible, supportive writing group. I plan to bust my ass during November to finish the 1st draft of at least one of my 3 WIPS and my writing group will make sure that I do.

I thank you for reading The Dead and for waiting patiently for Boneyard to be released. I’m working on it as fast as I can, while still attempting to participate in my real life occasionally. I’m so grateful for you readers who have taken the time to read my book and contact me. You don’t know how much I appreciate it. Those tweets and messages have kept me going. Thanks for those and for the ratings and reviews on Goodreads. It means a lot to me.

So, I’ll post a release date for Boneyard when I have something concrete. In the meantime, I’m plugging away on my three WIPS and come hell or high-water, I’ll get something finished soon.
