Thought For Today

Dujo did as Dujo would,
And more impressively, he did what no others could.
He was quicksilver, at odds with the land,
Physics could not explain his semi-solid stance.
He went where he liked, and took on whom he pleased,
No form of confrontation could be used to conform him.
He was the authority’s poison; toxic to the touch.
Anarchy was his specialty, and he was employing it without regard.
The masses did join him, as their cult hero he was,
And the collapse of a civilization he soon brought about.
For centuries more, he continued to play,
And now, millennia after his death, we are still intrigued by his reign.
