This is a wonderfully illustrated children's story with a great message. The bear doesn't want to get to know his new neighbours and tries his best to avoid any interaction with them. By the end of the book, though, they end up friends. It's a fun story that I'm sure children will enjoy.

"Those Pesky Rabbits" is Ciara Flood's debut children's book, and I am told that her second will be released next April. She's currently working on her third book. Ciara writes the stories and does all her own illustrations.

This looks so cute! I'm always on the lookout for good kids' books for my own kids, and nieces, nephews and assorted other small people. ;)

Looking forward to reading it to them. The writer/artist used to live next door to me and she found me again on Twitter last week, which is how I found out about the book. I remember telling her about my writing years ago, and at the time she said she was thinking of writing and illustrating a children's book :)
