After some serious skull polishing, I reluctantly agreed to be filmed on location at Great Givendale - scene of the opening chapters in Dead Pretty. I discovered that the locals are fabulous; the location is breathtaking; I'm more rotund than I thought I was; and I can't say the word "linoleum"!!
