It’s release day! Not Your Match and Playing with Heartstrings have been released into the world. I have print copies sitting in my office, ready for the Christmas Gifts Expo this weekend, and I’m obsessively checking Amazon, biting my nails and hoping my book babies will be okay in the big scary world.
One of the biggest factors that helps a book achieve success are Amazon reviews. More reviews = more exposure on Amazon. More reviews = more likelihood of getting accepted to subscriber email lists like BookBub for promotions. More reviews = better sales. And while I write because I love it, I do have a mortgage to pay as well.
