Andrea Turner #HBRStroy
Andrea is an #HBRBootcamp alum from Ohio who has used the tools she learned with the #HBRMethod to begin living out her dream of being a fashion stylist, including an appearance on CBS The Talk! This is her story.

"I was a part of the first #HBRBootcamp and it completely changed my life, personally as well as professionally. At the time I was searching for something, but wasn’t sure what it was. I knew I wanted to help people in some capacity, and I'd just started my personal styling business. My lifelong dream was to become a personal stylist/model working in the fashion industry. I love helping a woman feel beautiful, confident and well put together.
After reading the first chapter of Hustle Believe Receive, (those that are close to me know that I hate reading), I actually looked forward to the next, and the next, and the next chapters. I did not want to put it down! I remember reading a quote by Will Smith (who is by the way my crush of all time) “Being realistic is the fastest road to mediocrity. WHY would you EVER be realistic?” That stuck in my head and helped me to dream big, dream about things that most people would think couldn’t happen. So meeting Will Smith is on my #Bucketlist! I was actually called to be an extra in a movie that Will was filming called “Concussion,” before the start of #HBRBootcamp, but I had to pass because it didn't work in my schedule. Yikes! I believe that I passed up on an opportunity or a manifest that moment because I wasn’t ready. That won’t happen again. I learned through the #HBRMethod how to stay ready.
I remember the first question in the first chapter was “What do you want”? I knew that I wanted to live my life and be happy and be financially secure. But what do I really want? I had to think long and hard, more than being a personal stylist, but what did I really want my life to look like? It took some time to discover that.
Since I completed #HBRBootcamp, I have been featured on CBS The Talk --where I got to give my opinion on a fashion question. Because of that opportunity, women are calling/texting me out of nowhere about what to wear. I am living my dream! I bought the very car that was on my #FutureBoard! I'm working on plans to move to Italy. I have planned two successful fashion shows and helped women dress confidently. I worked for a week on a mission (one of my dreams). I could go and on and on... My life is so full, and I wake up every morning ready and waiting for what is going to happen. By keeping the 8-steps engraved in my head I am seeing my dreams become real! #HBR ROCKS!"
