A Tiny Ripple....
November 29, 2015
Hi, GR Blog Post & Readers!
It's been a while since I last entered writing/publishing updates. Time flies when you're creating worlds and promoting books.
I thought it might be worth noting on my media-footprint something positive this time. I was amazed and humbled to find out that my scifi romance novella, The Dark Places, received a nomination in The Third Annual Evernight's Readers' Choice Awards.
It's a nomination for Best in Category: Futuristic.
Final winners will be announced Dec. 7, 2015 and determined through votes.
Here's the link, if you're in the voting mood. You'll also discover other hot romance books and authors along the way, too. I promise:)

I'm sharing the Futuristic Category with 4 other very talented, wildly popular Evernight authors. I don't expect to squeak through the finals, but--wow! I'm amazed and totally honored to have The Dark Places nominated for a Best in Category! For me, it's an encouraging, tiny ripple in the great big book-market pond.
I'm ever so grateful to all the readers who nominated my book. Your encouragement means a lot to this humble, newbie author. Your nominations mean that my book must have touched your minds and hearts in some little way. This is the highest reward of all for a writer. Thank you again, dear readers.

Adventures of a New Writer in Media Land
I'm a newbie to publishing.I loved writing my book, but the trek through the media venue to tell the world about it has been complex.
In the course of setting up my author profile, I was reminded by G I'm a newbie to publishing.I loved writing my book, but the trek through the media venue to tell the world about it has been complex.
In the course of setting up my author profile, I was reminded by GR prompts that I hadn't added My Quote yet. I added a few, but the profile wasn't happy. It reminded me I hadn't added MY quote. But there were rules.
After much dithering, I added a quote from the fantastic, eminent author, Gregg Braden.
But horrors! It’s associated with my name, and book. This is tragic, because Mr. Braden's wonderful quote appears nowhere in my book. AND the quote removal option disappeared (Arrggh). At least Mr. Braden and his book is cited as the quote source.
I will find a way to remove the quote. In the meanwhile--sincere apologies to Gregg Braden for this snafu. He’s an insightful writer about science, spirituality and metaphysics.
Wishing you peace, and wonderful books!
