My immediate thoughts after watching Batman vs Superman trailer were Well, that's nauseating. I feel like I have already seen this movie and already been bored by it. And yo Warner Bros, guys, making a clumsily dark comic book movie does not automatically makes it a Christopher Nolan's fare. I really don't understand the studio's compulsive need to paint their Superman movies with a Nolan's brush, without really understanding what makes Nolan's movies so appeasing, so entertainingly good despite being logically flawed. OK, I'm nitpicking here now, Nolan's movies are flawlessly competent and intelligent way better than what's coming out these days. Zack Snyder was the wrong choice for Man of Steel and he is wrong for this. Wrong, wrong, wrong. And I like his silly little movies (Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole wasn't silly, haha. I think that's his finest work ) The point is, Superman doesn't need to be this abstractly dark, it just takes you out of the whole thing, tone of the movie gets confusing and at times it can feel a little nonsensical.
Batman vs Superman feels like a really bad movie and they know it too; they gave away the whole thing in the bloody trailer. And what is up with Doomsday ? He looks like a happier version of Abomination from 08's Hulk. Maybe he was just happy to see Wonder Woman.
Not that I hold Marvel movies in high regard but they are infinitely better than any of the DC's latest efforts with the exception being Nolan's Batman trilogy of course.
And let's not forget Warner Bros only rushed into this, this much teased about crossover, because of Avengers success.

Codicil : On second viewing (and the subsequent multiple viewings ) the trailer definitely went down the gullet a bit more easily. Maybe like the Boy Scout, I'm a bit hypocritical too haha.

I see the remnants of the Batvoice crossed over from Nolan's Batman universe. And I think Ben Affleck is serviceable as Bruce Wayne. I don't know, I kinda like the philandering idiot.
