Making progress!
Just a quick update, as we roll steadily into December.
I’m deep into edits and revisions for Boneyard. I’m spending lots of time on this book, trying to avoid some of the mistakes I made with The Dead. I like this book a lot more than the first one too, and want to do the story justice. Ebron is so dear to my heart.
Second, I’m taking a break from writing my as-yet-unnamed stand alone novel, just until I’m done with Boneyard. But I did take the time to re-read all 17 chapters that I have so far, and you guys, I really like this book. I can’t wait to finish it and I can’t wait to get it out there.
Third, the Thaumaturge short. Sigh… I’m so sorry about this one, you guys. I meant to have it written and out by freaking October and here we are, nearly Christmas, and I’ve got, like, 1k words on that thing. I haven’t forgotten about it, it’s just not a priority right now. Editing and getting Boneyard out is my top priority.
Finally, on a personal note, I fractured my neck during weightlifting last Tuesday. It was stupid and clumsy and entirely my own fault, but I’m in a bit of pain and I’m not allowed to work out and, you know, move. It really sucks balls. I work out everyday, it’s something I loved and not being able to even walk without pain just really takes an emotional toll. On the plus side, laying here means lots of time for editing.
So anyway. Thanks again to everyone who reads this blog, who has read my book, who has taken the time to leave a review or a rating or to send me a Tweet. I appreciate it so much. Hopefully, I can buckle down and Boneyard will be out before you know it.
