Recently I was asked a question about which of my peers I admired in the blogging world, and I realised I admired the people who worked out the game quickly and started doing everything right at a young age.

Maybe that’s just me being a little bit jealous that when I was a teenager the idea of an ordinary person working entirely online was impossible. But we’ve come a long way in the last 20 years, so some kids nowadays actually start working freelance online when they start college (or earlier). And for many it’s how they support themselves through the unaffordable rite of passage known as the internship.

To start working online around a hectic education schedule is the perfect way to earn a crust without going nuts. It sure beats working at Hungry Jacks (AKA Burger King), which is what I did.
