I'm creating a tradition of giving away a free New Year's story every year.
This year's is a Sherlock Holmes pastiche set in 1915 that features Moriarty and Eminent Bankers in a terrible plot to finance the First World War - both sides of it.
Loosely based both on the character from the Sherlock Holmes stories and some too little known historic facts from the 'House of M', this is a sinister but darkly amusing tale, told with bitter wit by the 'Napoleon of Crime' himself - and he has nothing but sarcastic contempt for the 'ridiculous private detective'.
