"Excellent book for an audience interested in specific upper echelon members of the SS. Otherwise, this information which is archived in the German language WWII vaults would be unavailable to English readers. The authors have obviously collated and scoured the historical records to present the information in a concise and readable manner. This book would appeal only to readers interested in the professional history of the individual players of this organization. The information is provided by the authors in an unbiased manner, but certainly any individual reader can come to their own conclusions about the character and historical implications of the individuals who make up this organization. This book is not for a reader looking for a general history of the Third Reich. Such readers would find this book tedious and of no particular utility. There are plenty of other books which fill that need."
