"Smee" was one of my favorite stories in the outstanding anthology The Oxford Book of English Ghost Stories! Two more of Burrage's many short stories appear in Roald Dahl's Book of Ghost Stories, and his excellent "Between the Minute and the Hour" (1922) is included in Charles Keeping's Classic Tales of the Macabre.
