She's a common thief. Personally I hope the authors of the work she stole have a change of heart and pursue it through court - people like this can't be allowed to profit from what is tantamount to professional rape.
Why is this "author" still on the site? She has plagiarized and all of her books, not only the ones proven to be stolen, are suspect.
I can't help but wonder why there isn't a stronger connection between Amazon and Goodreads with regards to this. You can't purchase any Joanne Clancy books on the Amazon site, as she's been banned for life according to the above article (at least under this name/pseudonym - pardon my cynicism) so why hasn't this profile been erased?
Very strange.
Once the plagiarism has been confirmed with Amazon, you'd think something would be in place to almost immediately expunge all traces of this so-called author on GR too.
