If not, I've discovered an easy way to fancy-up a Trader Joe's or anyone's Vanilla snack cake mix: I heat the milk and steep 2-3 bags of double-bergamot Earl Grey tea (Stash brand) for a good long time, then cool in fridge and recheck the amount adding extra if needed before using. The box calls for cold milk. Bake as directed and it's got a lovely little zing happening.
BTW, thanks for the encouragement!
Great news! I've been waiting for Seelye's story with much interest, as he's the Horseman I like best. :)

Of the four, he's definitely the wittiest, though I admit to having a soft spot for each in preference to the others as I write up his story. I suppose that's as it should be. I hope he lives up to your expectations, or better yet, surprises you. Best wishes!
JIll-Try the cake. It's def. good news. Sorry, the quantities are in cup/tsp rather than metric. Hope you can make it out anyway.Caz, I do, and I will. Thanks

And that's why I love him so. I've a weakness for witty and sardonic leading males in literature in general, not just HR. And the banter . . . the banter!
(Side note: Hi, Jilly! You're back?)
JIll: The brand I found was imported: Youngs. Possibly UK? Fingers crossed it's in Taz, too.But plain stout will work too, might add more cocoa powder, it can't hurt, can it? Or chocolate morsels.
I will have to try it. If I can tear myself away from my current reading binge. My kids can forage for themselves...so where is my motivation??? :-)
Thank you for letting me know. I hope I don't disappoint you. I'm trying hard to get this finished. And fun. Best wishes!
Just finished the first two Horsemen books, and checked in here to see when #3 would be out. Love the first two!
Thanks so much for trying them out. I'm working every day on #3, and hope to have it out in October. Maybe late Sept. Just not sure. The longer it takes me, the better off readers will be.

So keen to see this, I hope this encouraging rather than stressful Miranda Davies, I just really appreciate your talent.
MrsMascara&Kati Happy holidays to you, too!
I am encouraged you even remember I'm supposed to publish a third. I was thinking if I hid long enough no one would care...
I am mostly editing at this point. I've sent it to two trusted beta readers and will continue to polish till I can read through it smoothly. This part takes a long time, sigh. I will definietly publish by end of 2016, either Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve. (The self-publishing part also takes time to make sure it looks right.) I apologize for taking so long, but I'd rather do my best than do it fast.
I am re-energized to hear I have two readers still! THank you for taking the time to let me know.
