Exclusive Fairyland Chapter at EW!

The Girl Who Raced Fairyland All the Way HomeHello, friends of Fairyland! The last volume of September’s adventures in Fairyland will be coming to a bookstore (or device!) near you on March 1st. I know that may seem like too soon to say goodbye to September, Saturday, A-Through-L, Hawthorne, Tamerlaine, or any of the other friends we’ve made over the years… But I also recognize the eager and wicked gleam in your eye, wanting to take just one peek behind the cover before the official release.

Well, you’re in luck! Entertainment Weekly has scored an exclusive excerpt from The Girl Who Raced Fairyland All the Way Home. Click on the link below to read the first chapter:

Read an excerpt from Catherynne Valente’s final Fairyland novel.

Trish As much as it will grieve me to say goodbye, I prefer a timely but very good ending in the spirit of things to a dragged-on, never-ending story that does not do any of the previous books justice!
So far, this series has been PERFECT and I'd like to thank you for that!

Carmel I am sure that reading this last book will be such a mixture of joy and sadness, these books and all their characters have become very dear to me. Thank you.

message 4: by Jake (new)

Jake I want to look, I really do but if I look I won't be able to stop thinking about it so I have to wait until March so I don't damn myself to depths of my imagination and speculations.

Holly It's going to break my heart to say goodbye to September and her friends, but I know you'll give them a wonderful and fitting farewell.
