For those of you who know who K.F. Breene is, you’re probably wondering – why the new pen name? What’s happening with the old one?

And some of you are screaming and clutching at your hair. Maybe a few are threatening strangers and just flat out losing your minds!

The person who went streaking… that wasn’t my fault.

K.F. Breene isn’t leaving, she’s just sharing. She’s sending all the straight romances to Willow while she entertains the beasties from the fantasy stories. So, in essence, what I’m doing is entertaining my OCD nature and categorizing my split personality.

So you’ll only be writing fantasy-type and romance books, you ask? I thought you got bored easily?

You’ve got me pegged. With this pen name, I’ll bring over the contemporary and comic romance, and I’ll add an erotic romance starting in November. Soon will come a re-vamped suspense romance. From there, I might branch out a little more. I might try my hand at thriller, or even…a mystery?

Okay, maybe mystery was a bit far. I don’t think I can see past my nose — you’ll all know who dunnit immediately.

I digress.

I promise that each story will have an element of romance, and probably a sexy scene. Or two. Sometimes more. I’ll do some series with a few stand-alones, like Surviving Love, and some with an ongoing story, like Jessica Brodie.

Yes, yes, I know. The romance formula dictates that each book get an HEA. But that also means we only get that one book with a fun girl and her hot guy. I do hate saying goodbye. I like to live their lives with them, through their trials, and show that love isn’t a quick trip. It sometimes takes its time, like with Growing Pains. So I’ll warn you, how’s that? With book one I’ll give you a heads up if you get your wrap up quick-like, or if you are starting a journey to your HEA.

What I did with the erotic romance is a four-part story with mini HEAs along the way. Best of both worlds, right?

I have no idea. We shall see.

Anyway.

So yeah. That’s what happening.
