Hi all,
I was wondering what peoples thoughts were on this, although proven to be a good marketing tool; and something I like to do in concerns to my own novels, book trailers are still a relatively new concept. Nothing aggravates me more then watching a three minute trailer comprising of stolen film clips, but this could just be me.
I as an avid reader find it quite difficult to watch a film before I read a book, knowing that I wont be able to get the image of the actors cast out of my head, especially when I feel that the actors chosen are a mile away from the books description of the character. I was wondering if anyone thought that Book trailers could also be detrimental this way?
