If I had a counter embedded on my forehead it would probably show about a gadzillion threads for the phrase "Out on Amazon". It's amazing what an impact that outlet has on an author's publishing life.

I woke up to find my book, my precious project, alive, available, for sale and smiling to the world. I have a living child.

This is definitely one of those life experiences where I can finally understand that it's not about the destination but about the journey. And more than that, I'm realizing, as time passes and new growing steps unfold, that I'm not 'there' yet. I probably never will be. It's a daily climb, and whether I get where I think I want to go is irrelevant. What's very enjoyable, gratifying and ultimately relevant is every step I take. I'm blessed!
