The Penwinnard books are not really a series, but rather a series of books, as each one can be read as a standalone.

All the same, this last one does wind it up. In 'Price of Survival,' I return to Bob, star of 'Angel No More,' the first of the stories.

Bob was always convinced that if he was ever located by those who once knew him as 'Angel,' his life would be forfeit.

But one of them does find him, he takes him, and for a time, he is again called 'Angel.' And yet, the man doesn't seem to want him dead.

This is 'Price of Survival,' the sixth and last of the Penwinnard books, just published.
