For me, clothes shopping is less fun than the dentist. At least when I leave the dentist, I'm feeling good about how smooth my teeth feel after their cleaning. With clothes shopping, I end the day feeling only "meh" about my choices and pretty shitty about my body as a whole. Nothing fits right because I'm oddly shaped. And, to be honest, I don't care about clothes, really. I just find it sad that when I have to go to an event: wedding, funeral, party, etc, I never have anything that is good enough or fits me right. If jeans and a tshirt aren't appropriate for this event, I really don't want to go, lol. The result is that I always look a little dumpy. Not just because of my weight, but because casual (or even pajama-time) is the way I roll 365. I feel you, Ang.

I hate shopping but I usually go personally to find things. I once in a while find really cute things. I recently bought a peach lace dress anyway besides the point as a big girl its hard to find cute things... But like my mom says those who seek find.....

Problem is, I go and shop for clothes and somehow the mirrors in the dress shop don't make me look the same as the ones at home! Blah, I just hate clothes shopping full stop!!! Peach lace dress sounds really pretty!
I know what you mean about the black and red flowers. Why is it that the only clothes us real women can find look like a garden threw up on them. It's so hard to find tasteful clothes in the larger sizes. I have found a couple of shops that have really pretty clothes and fortunately I can shop them on line because clothes shopping makes me want to pull my hair out.

Why they don't make a simple article of clothing in size 0 - 24/26 and higher, I have no idea. There shouldn't be a stop on the size.

Hope I've done him justice! Now I'm doing my usual 'biting-of-the-nails'!!!
