It's My Thing
J.K. Rowling had a great response to a tweet the other day. One of her followers asked if she was writing a book. She replied, “I’m always writing a book. It’s my thing.” So perfect! Well, it’s my thing, too, but I haven’t been able to devote as much time to it as I’d like. I hope to rectify that after a family vacation next week. With a little recharging of the batteries, it’s quite possible that I’ll have the first draft of Feral Princess finished in (dare I say?) April.

It's my thing, too, Valerie. I've been writing since I was a small child. And, like you, I haven't been devoting as much time to it lately as I would like because of my full-time job. But, come the end of March, I will be retiring so I'll have plenty of time to indulge in "my thing" again! :)
