Full Mean.

My new short short story collection came out today on Amazon. It's called The Reek of Blood and, I've got to say, it's a nasty piece of work.

That's not to say the last few ebooks I've released haven't had their horrific elements, they do, but this new book goes into even darker, nastier territory.

The middle story in particular strays into some unpleasant and unsettling territory. It's probably the most Shaun Hutson-esque story I've ever written. If you're familiar with his work that's going to give you a big clue about The Bitter Salve.

It was written a few years ago and I'm not sure where it came from. I wasn't in a particularly bad mood, I didn't feel the need for some cathartic release and nothing unusual had happened in my life. I just had the need to dredge up something that would bother a reader's stomach as much as it would unsettle their mind.

Sometimes you just have to go Full Mean and see where it goes.
