D H Oddly enough, the one book that I could not get all the way through of Pterry's was the collaborative effort of Good Omens with Neil Gaiman. The plot just did not click with me.

Perhaps it is time to go back and try again (I must have attempted a read through three times with this novel).

I think that you are correct about characters and settings; Rhianna will hopefully utilize his creations as a template rather than a continuation, and possibly introduce us to an alternative universe (the multiverse does exist after all!).

I suppose puppets do not discriminate against their puppet master, but there are those that give it life, and those that just pull the strings.

Dodo I do believe things unique should never be mimicked. Concerning the "should the tales be laid to rest alongside the person who wrote them", well, they will not rest, they will carry on!

As to I hope Pterry lives FOREVER!!!, while seeing a person dear to one (and Pterry is dear to thousands and thousands!) is heartbreaking, still wishing immortality on anyone is cruel.
