MaryAnne I felt that that the ending of Fifty Shades Freed was cool too, and that it was a nice ending, kind of like giving an idea of the mind of Christian Grey. I feel like having an entire book again is more or less redundant. I mean, how much time did they really spend apart? Not enough for new material

bubblegumpopper Agreed. It was fairly clear in the Ana POV Fifty Shades of Grey that Christian was obsessed with her and that she broke the mold for him. Grey didn't really cover any groundshaking revelations in that department. He's obsessed with her and she's different from all the other women. The only thing we walked away with is that whereas Ana has an "inner goddess", Christian has an anthropomorphic penis. That didn't really add anything to the story of these two characters for me. It actually made me like Christian less. Like you, the only part I actually kind of enjoyed was the ending.

Liv I felt the same way. I also liked Christian less during and after reading Grey. Probably because the rose-colored glasses were missing - which we no doubt had put on while reading from Ana's POV.
