How is Sophie static? Did you read the end of The third book? Such a huge dramatic change from the beginning. First wanting a life with a prince to being content on her own. That's a huge change and not even denting the surface of changes we see throughout the book. She makes a lot of tough choices concerning Agatha, Tedros, and herself, and actually seems pretty much like a typical person, just a little more evil, (okay, a lot).

YESSS I LOVE SOPHIE SOOO MUCH. I mean, usually authors have flirty, vain characters, but they always have a limit to how frilly the character is. Soman Chainani, however, just plunges right in. So far, she hasn't stopped being vain just yet. :D (and yep I love evil characters. xD)
