Darlene Gordon Cartwright Thank you Torie. I'm going to keep reading, but it's good to hear positive feedback.

Jocelyn Gunter Did you make it through the book?

message 3: by Midge (new)

Midge I liked Red better also, reading it now. White is next.

message 4: by Dennis (new)

Dennis Just for info. There are several other books that are tied to these. Showdown, Saint, and Sinner. I like the original Black, Red, White better though.

Claudia I agree with Torie. Whenever I have trouble at the beginning of a Dekker book, I trust him as an author enough to continue reading. He never fails to take me on a wild ride, that I would not have wanted to miss.

Travis yeah Black takes awhile, you just have to stick with it and you won't be disappointed. I wasn't engaged until about the 7 chapters in. I believe Dekker is just laying a foundation for the rest of the series. However, once I got over the hump, I was sucked in and I couldn't read the book quick enough. Great series.

Janny I agree, it takes a little bit to get into it. I have finished all 4. My son bought me the series (bible size) with the alternate ending....and boy was it worth reading the regular ending and then reading the series again with the alternate.... I fell in love with Dekker with these books
