I'm with you Joanna! I loved all 3 books but I had to laugh out loud when I read the first sentence after the night your referring to when she got her memories of Patch back and she just says " I remembered Patch and I MADE OUT last night". The mood was set, there was not chance of interruptio like usual, all was safe for a while and then blah nothing!!
I know!! And oh she was thinking about how all this trouble started when two beings slept together that shouldn't have slept together so she's not gonna jump into anything with researching it first!! I mean what tha hell??? What 17 yr thinks like that?? And when patch is offering himself to you! No, I'm sorry but that is just not realistic! Lol!
Ahh! I am so glad I'm not the only one who thought this was crazy! You're 17! Atop thinking about what will happen if you make a baby with him. Use protection and just do it already! You love each other! Haha
I know, I get a bit sick of teen writers skipping around the teen sex issue, it doesn't need to be a graphic sex scene, but c'mon we all know it wouldn't take long for a 17 yr old to do it wth the love of her life, so why make it so unrealistic! Blergh!
I completely agree! Here's hoping the next book we get a bit more Patch/Nora alone time ;) haha!
I agree with you!! Not enough Patch and Nora for my liking and not enough passion. I thought they were gonna sleep together too. Becca said it was gonna be more patch and nora, but clearly that didn't happened. disappointed in that.
Good! I'm not alone. Cuz I was: "Seriously Nora?! You're not gonna sleep with Patch? SERIOUSLY? Cuz ur worried about what type of kid you're gonna get?!!!! May I remind you who your boyfriend is? How can you say no to that?!!!!! The 4th book better not disappoint me! and Nora quit acting like you're 40!!!! :)

There were several things that bothered me in Silence, but the scene you are referring to was probably the worst. If you are going to put a lot of sexual tension in your book you should just let things flow naturally. Nora is 17, not 12! Nobody was asking for anything graphic, but the reasons that came out of Nora's mind made her sound like an old lady from the 50s. Ugh! I'm definitely done with this series.
I'm glad you have all agreed, I thought maybe I was the one being unrealistic in expecting them to do the deed at the end there. Thought maybe I'm just too horny a mama to be reading thirteen stuff! Lol! But no, becca you got it wrong that time I'm afraid! I'll read the next one just coz it's patch, n it's the last one, but if they don't have sex I will curse you till the day I die! Lol!
