no freaking way! if you read about acheron before reading the others, yes you'll know all about him, but you won't have the suspens, and the mystery you have about him when you begin by the &st books! it's like telling pple to read Harry Potter 5 before the 1st one ... xD it's not logical, and it destroys the magic of the series!!!
The first half can be read without the others, but the second half they'd lose so much and prob be confused as to what's going on.
