I agree with you...most organized religions were formed to control a group of people...this is putting the control of your own destiny into your own hands. By no means am I indicating that I don't believe that there is a higher power...but who is to say that we are not all part of that higher power. Just look at the negativity in the world which creates more negativity...collectively, are we the ones who are creating what we are enduring? If the premise of The Secret is true, of course we are...
This is making sense Teresa. I always believe of the existence of a higher power, and for us being part of this power is making a great sense and justifying all negativity and evil exsist. Even organized religions follower- in my opinion- should find this so valid. Cus if only the higher power is controlling and humans are just toys, then this " higher power" must be responsible for every evil or imperfection in the universe, which making it imperfect. But I believe it's we are attracting good as well as bad by the power we emit to the universe.
