i do agree that she has unique bent to her writing that can't be duplicated but the other authors mentioned due have the snarky humor and strong characters that sometimes just make you shake your head i think the difference is shelly's writing ties the characters natures with such acceptance and no real expectation of change from one another the humor is in the fact they they all pretty much look at one another as he/she is what he/she is and if you cant' accept it then annoy the hell out of them
