I think so... I was reading the kindle version I got from my library (which also makes it hard for me to refer back to it!). The "reveal" (if you want to call it that) happens towards the end of Shekure's final narrative.
Bingo! :) I have just read the last chapter and indeed, in the last paragraph Shekure mentions giving it all to her son, Orhan, to write up. So that's it. Interesting, especially given all the sexual scenes with her and Black.
