Glad I’m not the only one who found the sci fi stuff hard to follow!

I DNF' this at page 81 and your review just made me very happy with that decision!! The spoilers sound super interesting, but the execution probably wasn't great... Ugh!
I agree with this review. This book has such an interesting idea, but it falls apart. I didn’t care about them coming back as father/daughter etc… if you read about reincarnation, that’s common.
It was a long slow read and I just wanted them to figure out their situation so it would end.

I found myself hating this book the more I read it also. The author ruined Thora for me. She became a raving lunatic by the end and of course she lived not Santi. They never learned how to navigate the situation, just fight about it. It was a very disappointing read for me. Your review was spot on.

Thank you. I just finished the book and agree with everything you said. I almost want to write a different ending just for myself so I could make sense of it and feel more satisfied.
I'm about a third of the way through and really appreciate feeling better about my decision to give up. I'm super irritated by Thora's character and was already mad that Santi had to die in the first story. The other stories have been confusing and all seem to blend into one another. I'm glad I know the ending so I don't have to experience it!
Excellent review! You articulated many of my feelings perfectly. I only have thirty pages left to read, but had to stop and check Goodreads reviews to see if anyone else found Thora as unlikable as I did! Thank you!
I thought I was just being careless in paying attention to the plot, but your review explained it well! I’m about halfway through and I truly don’t want to finish it. I’m listening to it as an audiobook and it’s 11 hours long! How can the characters keep dying over and over for 11 hours straight! I’m glad I read your spoiler so I don’t feel bad not finishing this book. I’m bored to tears with it.
I finished this book last night. Your review gives words to why I’m angry about the ending. The beginning of the story had so much promise!
