This was a game I played with my students to encourage writing. The idea is simple; I will show a book cover and you will think of the first word that comes to mind when you see that cover. The next person will write what word that makes them think of and so on. Periodically, I will change the book cover and begin a new round. We will then look and see how we started and where we ended. Here is an example:
Zombie Eaten Spaghetti Italy Gondolas Water Beach Sand
Now, who would ever thing you could go from Zombie to sand?
Zombie
Eaten
Spaghetti
Italy
Gondolas
Water
Beach
Sand
Now, who would ever thing you could go from Zombie to sand?
