Deleted Books - Gone Forever? > Likes and Comments

Librarians:

I understand from time to time books and shorts get deleted from the system but once this happens, are they gone forever?

I ask because I had two licensed stories of mine (from Kindle Worlds) just disappear without a trace. Granted, they've been out of production for some time now (published back in 2015) but many readers still know me/ search me because of these titles.

And, because I don't even have the ASINs, I can't even re-enter them into the database manually. Can anything be done?

Hi, the volunteers of this group are regular Goodreads members, not company employees. As far as I can tell, it sounds like your books have been caught up in the current bug that marks many Kindle editions as Invalid, which hide them away from search and author pages, but are likely not deleted from the database.
